Pet Boarding at The Animal Hospital at Lake Brandt in Summerfield, NC
Whether you're called away on business and just can't take your dog along, or your grandmother's coming to visit and she's deathly allergic to your cat, sometimes it's best if your pet stays away from home for a few days. At The Animal Hospital at Lake Brandt, we offer superior pet boarding services for all of our furry patients. Whether your pet stays with us for a night or a week, you can feel secure that it will be safe and happy with our caring team.
Why Boarding at the Veterinarian's Office?
It might seem easier to ask a friend or relative to care for your pet while it's away from home, but pet boarding with us has some distinct advantages. Some of the reasons it's better for us to care for your dog or cat are:
- Proper exercise and diet - We have scheduled times for pets to run and play outside, making sure they get enough exercise every day they're with us. In addition, we're specialists at knowing the healthy diet for your pet and what treats it shouldn't have. It's not likely your cousin will do the same for you.
- Professional attention - When your pet stays with us, our job is to take care of it. When it stays with your neighbor, it will just be hanging around the house. Sure, it will probably be carefully watched and let outdoors a few times a day, but your neighbor's primary attention won't be on your dog or cat. In our boarding facility, we don't do anything else.
- Medical care - If something goes wrong and your pet has a medical emergency, it's a great feeling to know that we're in the same building as a fantastic veterinary team. Emergency medical care is literally steps away, and one of our vets is always on call. In addition, if your pet has any special dietary or medical needs, such as giving prescription drugs or injections, our professional team has the education and experience to do so.
