COVID-19 Updates

Pets are family and we know how important it is for them to receive necessary care when they need it. During this time, The Animal Hospital at Lake Brandt is committed to serving all pets in our community while keeping the safety of our staff and clients a priority.

We are offering curbside check-in and check-out services. All communication regarding the exam, estimates, and diagnostic results will take place over the phone.

Here is what you can expect from our curbside service:

1. Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive at 336-643-2229 and remain in your car, the doors to the hospital will be locked.

2. A technician/assistant will let you know to meet at the front door or your car to discuss your pet’s visit.

3. They will bring your pet into the hospital for the doctor to complete the exam and any requested services.

4. The doctor will communicate with you over the phone during the visit or come back out to discuss your pet’s exam findings.

5. One of our fabulous receptionists will check you out from your car. Our credit card terminals are disinfected between each interaction for your safety and ours.

• For pet food/med pick-ups, please call in advance so we can have your items prepared to limit your wait time. Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive, and we will bring the items out to your car.
• If you are dropping your pet off, we will no longer keep personal items such as leashes, collars or carriers. This will help us decrease possible cross contamination.

We are hopeful all these changes, while necessary, are temporary. We feel that it is what’s best for all our safety, which is our number one priority.
